Peilin Lee is the Founder and Managing Director of Jumpstart Mandarin, one of the established Mandarin language centers teaching non-Chinese background children in Hong Kong. She was born and raised in Taiwan, and is now based in Hang Hau, Hong Kong.

 

Peilin is a certified teacher and has a MA in Applied Linguistics from Birmingham University, UK. She has been in the field of language education for 20 years and is a strong believer of Kinesthetic and Tasked-Based Learning. Married to a Canadian and raising a bi-lingual child (in English and her mother tongue) in a non-Mandarin speaking environment, Peilin has had a lot of hands-on experiences in Teaching Mandarin as a Foreign/Second Language to Young Children.
